Welcome to the Medical Residency Programs!
Thank you for visiting the Medical Residency Programs of the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission
(SACM) in the United States. This department was founded two years ago under the guidance
of the new Cultural Attaché Dr. Mohammed Aleissa. Under Dr. Aleissa's leadership, the
Medical Residency Programs was able to successfully sign 24 agreements with various reputable universities
and hospitals in the U.S. These agreements have helped facilitate the placement of 62 Saudi
Arabian medical residents throughout the United States in various sub-specialties.
In addition, the Medical Residency Programs in SACM made several arrangements with other health institutions
to accept research Fellows for one year and to accept short-term rotation in hospitals for
undergraduate medical students who want to get their summer training in the USA. The Medical
Unite was able to achieve these agreements only after engaging the hospitals and specifically
approaching the respective sub-specialty departments in an ongoing effort. These agreements are
victorious end result of such endless efforts. This is an unprecedented achievement that is currently
in its early phases of development. Under the direction of Dr. Aleissa, we are continuing
o pursue alliances with Medical college and Hospitals and training throughout the United States
to enhance the quality of Education their educational development. Our goal is to provide
informative direction and support to all Medical and prospective Students.
In the past, Medical students did not have a department specifically designed to address their needs.
The Medical field In the United States is one of the best systems in the world, and it requires
a very high level of dedication and discipline. The Medical Residency Programs was established to better channel
our Medical Students into Residency rotations, Research and Fellowship Programs. Teaching hospitals
work on a highly structured calendar for application review, interview, and acceptance base on the
specific requirements of each hospital.
The Medical Residency Programs has created a guide for your different needs. You will learn about different chronologies of your experience here in the United States, For example from the MCAT and USMLE all the way through achieving the American Board and completing the Fellowship Programs by our physicians.
The Medical Residency Programs is building alliances with different institutions to provide you with a comprehensive and superior training and preparation throughout your medical career. We want you to gain the best quality knowledge and attain the best possible skills in becoming successful in your individual fields.
Kaplan Medical has been working in a strong alliance with the Saudi Cultural Mission for Years now. We have worked hand in hand in guiding our students through the USMLE exams. We have provided a well gathered source of information based on their exam prerequisites and a guide of what is required to cover before sitting for the exams. We have included course packages available and their duration.
On a similar note, AmeriClerkships which is another alliance of SACM,
is a great source for doctors to have a hands-on clinical experience across the United States,
which is recommended by the U.S. Residency Directors & Admission Committees. The information for
this experience will be provided in our interactive Website.
On behalf of the Cultural Attaché, Dr. Mohammed Al-Eissa,
the Medical Residency Programs welcomes you to our Medical Residency Programs. We have developed a place for you to lean on during your challenging years of studies, practice, and achievements. We wish you all the success in the journey of achieving your educational aspirations.
