United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)

The United Staes Medical Licensing Exams (USMLE) is a process which is required from all applicants to Residency programs. Throught this exam the phycisan is granted a license to practice medicine. The exam is comprised from two parts: part one and part two-CS and CK. The USMLE assesses a physicians's ability to apply knowledge, concept and demonstrate fundamental medical skills which are very important to provide the patient with the basic care. The USMLE are required from ALL Foreign Medical Graduates and it is a precondition to apply into any residency programs in USA. The USMLE is sponsored by theFederation of State Medical Boards of the United States, Inc. (FSMB), and the National Board of Medical Examiners® (NBME®).
